Hi,
Concerning NSIS Media, I installed Trojan Hunter, and it found the trojan Adware.Cydoor.exe
I DID clean it, but well, it cleaned my explorer with it too...
Now I've got EXPLORER.EXE running, but without its dll, it doesn't work anymore.
Did you have a similar problem? If so, how did you solve it?
Thanks,
Fred

Dear Fred,
Explorer.dll? From the looks of this site, there
shouldn't be a "explorer.dll" file anyways, TrojanHunter did it's job.
Becasue I don't remember haveing that .dll either. If you have ANY more
questions, concerns or comments, please feel free to email me back.

Paul A.

Well,
I hang a little around the net and came to the same point as you, there shouldn't be any explorer.dll file.
It
seems that NSIS uses explorer.exe and its own file (explorer.dll) to
run: deleting explorer.dll caused explorer.exe to become unstable.
Though my explorer didn't work, I noticed that "explorer.exe" was still
running. I killed the process then created a new one, and everything
seems OK now.
I'll tell you if anything more turns out wrong.

Dear Fred,
That's great that everything is working fine now. I
hope that neither you, me nor anyone will become infected with this
crap anymore. And like I said before, if you have ANY more questions,
comments or concerns, please feel free to email me back.
Thanks Again,
Paul A.
